Anyone who entices an unmarried female into a brothel for the purpose of prostitution or forcibly compels a female against her will into marriage is guilty of the crime of abduction. Similarly, a person who employs a female younger than eighteen years as a prostitute is guilty of abduction. Conviction on a charge of abduction cannot be supported solely on the testimony of the woman or girl; there must be additional evidence. The penalty for abduction is imprisonment for a term no more than ten years or a fine no greater than ten thousand dollars or both.
A person who intentionally causes miscarriage of a woman, either by an instrument or by a drug, is guilty of the crime of abortion, unless the action is undertaken to save the life of the woman. The penalty is imprisonment in state prison for not more than four years. A woman who causes her own miscarriage, either by the use of an instrument or by medicine or drug, is guilty of abortion and is subject to imprisonment for a period no less than one year and no more than four years.
Arson in the first degree.
A person who intentionally sets fire to a structure or building in which there is a human being is guilty of arson in the first degree. The penalty is imprisonment for a term no greater than forty years.
Assault in the first degree.
A person who, with the intent to kill, attacks another with a deadly weapon or causes to administer poison is guilty of first degree assault. The penalty is imprisonment for no more than ten years.
