Abstract
Henry (Dutch) Goldberg is indicted on a charge of murder in the first degree for the killing of Morris (Moiche) Rubenstein on March 11, 1915.
The prosecution alleges that the murder was a consequence of a quarrel among gangsters on the Lower East Side. Lena Blank and Rosa Kuttler both testify that they witnessed the shooting death of Rubenstein in Allen Street around ten o’clock in the evening on March 11. Blank identifies Goldberg and Presser as the killers; Kutler identifies Presser as one of the gunmen.
